Day 1: At Srinagar
Your trip starts as you reach Srinagar by flight or train. You spend a day here, watching out the local sightseeing places, and also doing any necessary shopping for the next few days of your trip. It’s like you gear up here for making the trip absolutely worthwhile for ride and stay. From here you will be starting your amazing road (on bikes) tour on the following day.
Day 2: Srinagar to Kargil (203 Km)
On the second day, you will be introduced with your bikes – the Royal Enfield – which you will be riding on your own for the rest of the trip. All instructions essential for your safety ride will be provided to you.
Once you are ready with all guidelines, you will start from Sonmarg and travel through the Zoji La pass and keep riding upwards, along with enjoying the majestic view of the sceneries around.
On your way, you will pass through Drass, where the temperature will be really low, being the second coldest place on earth. Here you will make a stop and visit the Drass war museum, offering your respect and prayers for the brave soldiers of our country, following which you will take your ride ahead and reach Kargil.
You will spend the night in Kargil, where all your accommodations and meal arrangements will be made by our teams.
Day 3: Kargil to Leh (231 Km)
This can be quite an interesting journey for you as you will experience a marvelous transformation from seeing an Islamic population all through Kargil, to a complete Buddhist population in Leh. You will be riding through the Leh-Srinagar road, travelling further up, and cross the Fotu La pass.
En route you can visit the beautiful Lamayuru monastery in Ladakh, and moving through a runway, you will finally reach Leh.
You will be spending the night at the TSO Kar Lake, where tents will be arranged along with meals for you, for your night stay beside the lake.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley
Today, you will take your ride from the TSO Kar Lake, and take the Polokongka La pass, where on your way you will cross the Sumdo village. Further you will ride through the Khardung La pass, and reach the Nubra valley.
This will be one of the most striking place for your stay. The sceneries are astoundingly breathtaking here, so don’t miss clicking on images as many as you can.
Day 5: Nubra Valley to Leh (75-150 Km)
You will travel to Leh again from Nubra Valley but before starting, you will experience the amazing camel rides in the valley region and visit the Hunder and Diskit villages, and also the beautiful Panamik hot spring.
After visiting these places, you will take the Khardung La pass again and reach Leh, where you spend the night.
Day 6: Leh to Pangong Tso (164 Km)
This will be a 164 Km ride from Leh to Pangong Tso Lake, where you spend the night at the lake itself. This is also the place which you might have seen in the 3 Idiots movie, where shooting for
the movie had been done. You can even visit the Phunsuk Wangdu School.
Tents and accessories will be made ready for your stay, along with your dinners.
Day 7: Pangong Tso to Leh (164 Km)
After spending a splendid time beside the highly serene and beautiful Pangong Lake, you will ride back to Leh, crossing through the Khardung La and Tanglang La passes. On the way, you will be taking short breaks, rest, capture images with the awe-inspiring waterfalls at your backgrounds, and also visit the monasteries nearby Leh-Hemis, Thiksey, and Shey.
Further you will take the Chang La pass, and take a smooth journey back to Leh.
Day 8: Rest at Leh
Today, you will rest at Leh. You can spend the whole day by resting, or visiting the nearby sightseeing areas, or do some shopping as well.
Day 9: Leh to Sarchu (230 Km)
This ride will have you experience the smoothness and roughness of road on bikes, in combination and hence will be quite an interesting travel to make to reach Sarchu, a 230 Km journey from Leh. You will be crossing the Tanglang La pass and reach Sarchu, where you will spend the night.
Day 10: Sarchu to Manali (235 Km)
You will take your ride from Sarchu to Manali where en route you will be experiencing the green beauty and colored landscapes all around. Perfect for your images too.
Day 11: Rest at Manali
This is the last day of your trip where you can rest at Manali, or visit the local sightseeing places – the Hadimba temple, Manu temple, and the hot springs. For those who want to return home, can also take their flight/train from here.
